Our goal is not to be America's biggest spice supplier, just its best. To have the best quality spices you have to source the best, and then keep them fresh. We work very hard to make sure we don't overbuy so that we know our spices are always the freshest.
Our domestic herbs come from the Coachella Valley in Southern California where our producer grows the best Basil, Dill, Thyme, Marjoram, Spearmint and Tarragon without any herbicides or pesticides; all fields are weeded by hand. Our Cumin, Cinnamon, Paprika and Black Pepper are ground to order for us. And our Black Pepper is true Indian Malabar, the best of the five varieties commonly ground. Malabar has a stronger, sweeter and more complex flavor. It is truly the Rolls Royce of pepper. Our Onion and Garlic products are 100% USA grown. We also have an extensive selection of Chili Peppers, including many that are available in powder form. |
